FAQs for Your Neighborhood Pool
What is Your Cancellation Policy for Swimming Lessons
Group lessons are participation based. Our group lesson classes are participation based and therefore we count on everyone who registers to participate. Kindly understand that registering for classes, even without knowing the exact time of your class, commits your swimmer to that class and therefore no refunds are offered.
Group lessons must have at least 3 swimmers enrolled to be held. In the event that the class does not have 3 full-time participants, it will not run. If the class you registered for does not run due to low enrollment you may apply that sessions registration to a future session, you can receive vouchers for 2 private lessons, or you can get a refund.
Private lessons can be rescheduled with 24hrs advanced notice. If a participant does not show up for the scheduled lesson, or is more than 10 minutes late, the participant will forfeit the lesson and no refund will be issued.
How do I register
Visit the Neighborhood Pool Group Lesson Info page and select your pool from the drop down menu.
How do I know which level to enroll my swimmer for?
Click here for our Placement Wizard.
What time are my group lesson classes?
Generally, group lesson classes take place 1-2 hours before your neighborhood pool opens. Because our lessons are participation based we cannot confirm your lesson time until 5pm the Saturday prior to each lesson session. You will be emailed and/or called with that information.
How do I register for private or semi-private lessons?
Private and semi-private lessons are offered by the instructors at your pool. Please find their business cards or posters at your facility. If you need help finding them, please speak with one of the lifeguards.
What if there aren’t enough kids to hold the level I want my swimmer sign-up for?
Group classes must have at least 3 swimmers enrolled to be held. In the event that the class does not have 3 full-time participants, it will not run. You will have the option of forwarding your registration to a future session, receiving two private lesson vouchers to be used at or your pool or at the Splash Swim School, or a full refund. Private lesson classes will not have the option of vouchers, instead, the credit can be used toward future private lessons or a full refund. The vouchers are valid for one year.
